Ships flying the Tuvalu Flag must comply with the requirements of the Tuvalu Maritime Legislation. These maritime legislation are available on this website. They govern the operational needs of Tuvalu ships and International Conventions' requirements which, all Tuvalu ships must comply. They are:

- Tuvalu Merchant Shipping Act and Regulations
