- Vessels below the age of 5 years
- Two or more vessels registered at the same time provided that they are below 12 years of age
- For passenger vessels exceeding 10,000 gross tonnes
- For ships that meet the standards of the Tuvalu Merchant Shipping Act, and that comply vigorously to international rules and regulations concerning maritime safety and pollution prevention

Additional discounts on top of the "Special discounted fees" are available when an owner registers 10 or more vessels at the same time provided they are below 12 years of age.
